Marks & Spencer always deliver the goods when it comes to stylish but practical fashion. And this year they've got one of the best winter coats around.
Come winter or summer, rain (or snow) or shine, the high-street store is a go-to for most of us whenever we need a reliable piece or two.
From their infamous bra fitting service, to the comfy tights and underwear and the retailer’s cushioned but fashion-forward shoes for all occasions, good old ‘Sparks’ comes through every time we need them.
And this time it’s in the shape of a comfy coat you might even want to swap your bedding for – hear us out…
Marks & Spencer is now selling their cosy Padded Duvet Coat again – and it comes in even more colours than before.
The snug coat is quilted with the brand’s Thermowarmth technology for a lightweight wear that keeps you warm in blistery outdoor conditions.
It’s also waterproof with a large hood and cuffs on the ends of the sleeves to keep the rain out.
And with black, navy, dark green and light grey options to choose from, it’s one that will go with most outfits.
And customers are loving the duvet style coat, taking to the product’s page to leave rave reviews.
One even commented on Instagram that the coat feels ‘like wearing a duvet’ while still repelling the rain.
Others agreed in the product’s reviews, writing, ‘Lovely warm coat Very very warm!!! I feel like I’m wearing a duvet!’ and ‘Literally a duvet with arms!’.
‘Perfect winter coat,’ added another. ‘This coat is toasty warm. It might not be the most flattering as it is quite thickly quilted, but if it’s a warm winter coat you’re after, then this is the one for you.’
‘Great classic padded coat,’ added another. ‘Always on the lookout for a padded coat that doesn’t look frumpy or make you look like a Michelin man and this ticks the box.
‘I have bought both the black for work and the green as it’s such a good casual colour. The coat is really warm, feels very cosy and is a good longer length.’
‘My best buy this year i think,’ added another, while another fan wrote, ‘Excellent winter coat.’
‘I suppose it has been designed to put layers underneath it. It’s beautifully light which is fantastic. And it also has a very handy inside pocket. Great buy.’
One commented on how enjoyable it makes cold mornings, writing, ‘More of a snuggle than a coat!
‘I’m not a morning person & my favourite season is summer! Finding this coat will make it a whole lot easier to get out of bed and out in the cold!’.
