Joules unveils wonderful initiative to help the fight against climate change

In a bid to help fight climate change, Joules are proud to be partnering with Woodland Trust for a wonderful initiative.

The British clothing company have pledged to plant 250,000 trees by 2022, supporting the efforts to create and conserve woodland, now and for the future.

To help achieve their mission, throughout March and April Joules are planting one tree for every pair of wellies purchased in store and online. With April showers just around the corner, now is the best time to grab yourself a new pair of wellies for all those springtime walks. Selected styles are available for both adults and children - perfect for a family day out!

Why are trees so important?

Studies have shown that trees and green spaces have a significant positive effect on mental health, helping to reduce stress, depression and anxiety.
The UK’s trees remove 10 million tonnes of carbon each year, purifying the air and cooling the planet.
A single mature oak tree can support more than 350 other species. In fact, one in four threatened bird species depend on woodland more than any other habitat.
