Jo Good's This Morning edit proves you don't need to spend a fortune to look great, with high street buys from just £8
The fashion influencer shared her top tips and hero buys for giving your wardrobe a boost on a budget
Whether you are starting to think about early autumn outfit ideas or looking to refresh your mid-summer wardrobe, you really don’t need to spend a fortune to give your look an upgrade, and Jo Good proves this point perfectly with her latest round-up of affordable buys on This Morning earlier in the week.
The fashion presenter showed off some seriously chic combinations with impressively low price tags, as she cherry-picked some of the most purse-friendly pieces available right now.
The star ticked off everything from daytime denim ensembles to occasionwear, and of course, she looked every bit the fashion expert too, in an oversized blazer and trouser co-ord from Primark. See her top picks below.
Matching Set
Supermarket ranges will kit you out without heavily denting your budget. Jo has found one of the best in-store sets too, explaining: "This is like a silky pyjama suit and the whole outfit comes in for less than £30. It comes in a gorgeous olive colour, and to give it a very high end feel, we’ve added a Next brooch at the neckline. This will take you for drinks and can easily be worn with flats too."
Tie-neck details are going to be a huge look over the coming months and will add interest to an otherwise simple button down.

Elevated Basics
Sometimes the smallest of details can give your outfit a high-fashion feel, and Jo clearly agrees: “I love these jeans, and the polo shirt is a great Miu Miu designer lookalike. This one has a catwalk-style, built-in striped collar, and we’ve tucked it into jeans and added a belt to give it a tailored and neat feel. Little details like the angled belt buckle can look very expensive too, and this combination is still quite light to wear for summer evenings.”
This clever top creates the layered effect but without the actual layers, which will feel much more wearable and cool than a crisp shirt and knit combination.

Timeless Dress
Wedding season can be expensive, but thankfully Jo has found the perfect do-it-all dress in the sale for summer and beyond. “This dress is designed beautifully, and it has a Dolce & Gabbana feel to it that looks exclusive but it’s actually £35 in the sale. The fringed texture of the bag really could be designer too. I think sticking to white or pale shoes always works, and this look is one of those you could buy now and wear right through summer, and again for next year’s holiday.”
The discreet cut outs at the sides of this dress flash a little flesh without being too much and the classic print will be a winner for any sunny occasion.
The fringed bag that Jo chose was from New Look, but it has sadly sold out. This textured piece is very similar and will look just as wow-worthy with your dress.

Summer Suit
Jo of course, looked amazing while presenting the style segment, and she shared some thoughts about her contemporary take on a summer suit: "I adore an oversized suit and this one looks like something from The Frankie Shop but it’s actually Primark – I absolutely love it. It's very oversized but works well. I like wearing white t-shirts too as it's like your own good lighting and brings a fresh feel, and I've added a patterned scarf as red is everywhere right now. I've rolled the sleeves up on my jacket and used elastic bands to secure them, to avoid the jacket from swamping me."
The latest drop from Coleen Rooney's collaboration with Primark has been a huge hit with shoppers, and this blazer is one of the best buys - wear with the matching trousers.
A relaxed white t-shirt is a great styling tool to have in your wardrobe and can be worn with everything from a tailored jacket to a cosy cardigan.
We love how Jo injected some colour into her neutral combination with this patterned scarf - not bad for under a tenner.
As always, Jo nailed it with her high street picks. Budget-friendly and versatile, you can shop guilt-free. I really like all of her looks, but if I had to pick a favourite, it would have to be the grey Primark suit she was wearing herself.
I love the exaggerated silhouette and crisp charcoal colour, and it's one of those co-ords that can be worn with heels to the office or with your best white trainers come the weekend. It's such a winner and looks far more expensive than it really is.
