By Emma White
Building on the success of her previous collections, TV’s Emma Willis continues her fashion designer career, creating a stunning winter capsule collection for Next. Comprised of cosy winter wardrobe staples, elegant occasion wear for the festive season and, for the first time, a jewellery line.
The scope of Emma's collections at Next keep on growing, and her latest one, which landed on the 29th of October, includes stunning pieces of gold-plated sterling silver jewellery.
As a busy working woman, and mum-of-three, Emma appreciates the need for versatile ‘no fuss’ pieces. This is very much echoed in the collection she has created. She says, 'They’re trinket-type, delicate items…I think finding the one piece of jewellery that you love that you can wear with everything is completely essential!'
Each piece of jewellery has been designed thoughtfully, so it looks simple and effortless with any outfit. The collection includes 7 pieces in total; comprised of ear cuffs, necklaces and delicate rings. There are currently three pieces online to view and the prices start at a very reasonable £18 for a ring.
The rest of the collection is made up of easy-to-wear winter wardrobe staples and timeless occasion wear pieces. Our fashion team have picked out their favourite looks:
Emma Willis Cord Co-ord
We love a co-ord. This one in particular is gorgeous. 70s style cord is very on trend this A/W, as are trouser suits. They’re perfect for the party season and make a refreshing change from wearing a dress. Pair with heels and a glitzy clutch bag to complete the look.
Emma Willis Satin Pleat Skirt
Midi skirts are are a must have item in your winter wardrobe (and all year round)! They are extremely versatile and great for layering. Pair with tights, boots and a chunky knit to keep warm and toasty this winter. We are obsessed with the gorgeous deep plum colour of Emma’s pleated skirt.
Emma Willis Shearling Style Aviator Jacket
The hero coat you didn’t know you needed. As the weather gets colder swap out your leather jacket for a cosy borg lined aviator jacket. Perfect for throwing on over any outfit. Shorter coats can also help create a flattering silhouette. We think this would look fab with a smock dress and biker boots.
Emma Willis Chunky Funnel Neck Jumper
A winter wardrobe would be incomplete without a cream chunky knit jumper. This one fits the bill perfectly.
Emma Willis Satin Jacquard Midi Dress
Snake print done well is a wonderful thing. We love the sophisticated look and feel of Emma’s black satin midi dress. Designed with a fitted waist and puff sleeves, this flattering and easy-to-wear midi dress would be perfect for any festive occasion. If dresses aren't your thing, Emma's collection features an all-black capsule range, including a jumpsuit and wide leg trousers.
The 2019 Emma Willis Winter Capsule Collection is available online from 29th October and in selected stores from 5th November. Shot on location in Cornwall, the collection is available in sizes 6-22. Whether you’re after a new winter coat, a feminine party piece or beautifully designed elegant jewellery, Emma’s fourth collection at Next has got you covered.
