Damart launches first designer collaboration with legendary French designer

Online fashion retailer Damart have announced their very first designer collaboration with legendary French fashion designer Christian Lacroix.

Christian Lacroix has created two must-have pieces for those who want to adopt effortless French style this winter.

Fans of the French designer and Damart's loyal customers have a limited time to get their hands on one of these two special pieces: a jacquard coat with thermal lining and a poncho, both in a luxe black and red print.

 

Known for its textile expertise, particularly its patented thermal ‘Thermolactyl’ fabric, Damart has incorporated a thermal lining into the coat, combining warmth and comfort with effortless style.

The jacquard coat features a collarless design with black piping and pockets. The coat is priced at £199 and is available in sizes 10-20, although size 10 has already sold out.

The poncho is perfect for those looking for an alternative version to a coat and is easy to throw on over any outfit. Team with jeans, a dark roll neck jumper and a pair of leather ballet pumps to channel your inner Parisian style.

Priced at £99, it's one size fits all and can be worn one of two ways thanks to its reversible design.

Speaking about the collaboration Christian Lacroix said, “These are patterns created from historical or ethnic archives, my two sources of inspiration which, by their mirror-like symmetrical design, softened by curves, should not only protect the body but also flatter the silhouette.”
