The MAC Whitney Houston collection has launched with limited edition bold golds and the ultimate red lipstick

MAC has launched a Whitney Houston inspired make-up collection ahead of the release of the iconic songstress' I Wanna Dance with Somebody biopic.

The MAC Whitney Houston collection, launched in honor of the late pop legend who passed away ten years ago in 2012, has landed in stores and online.

Combining four lipsticks, two glosses, two blushes, a radiant skin finish, an eight-shadow palette and false lashes, the MAC Whitney Houston collection pays homage to the late pop legend through bold beauty inspired by her own looks.

MAC, known for being the creators of some of the best lipsticks, best blushes and best eyeshadow palettes on the make-up market, have centered the line around bold golds, pretty pinks and ravishing reds and even taken inspiration from Whitney's nickname, Nippy.

Paying homage to Whitney's pout, the MAC x Whitney Houston line includes four lipstick shades each in a glistening gold casing with black tile detailing, with rich-toned reds, candy pink and a pretty nude all involved. 

The lipstick shades, named Nippy’s Moody Nude, Nippy’s Rose, Nippy’s Feisty Red and Nippy’s Sensual Red are complimented by two gloss options, with a Mac Lipglass in Nippy’s Shimmery Cinnamon and Nippy's Shimmery Gold also part of the range. 

As well as blushes designed to give that ultimate pop of 80s glam to the cheeks, the MAC x Whitney Houston eyeshadow palette with eight shades combine the perfect bone beige, carbon black, taupes, browns, greys and molten metallics to channel Whitney's signature stare.

And don't forget a powerful lash! The range has a set of 80 Romantic Lash falsies to add that extra layer of Whitney glam.
