M&S and Emma Willis just dropped a high-tech skincare range - and everything’s under £30

M&S' cult Formula skincare is back, and we're seriously excited about the peptide serum

If you’ve ever watched Emma Willis on screen, you’ve probably noticed she has excellent skin. At 50, the new Strictly Come Dancing host’s clear and radiant complexion has triggered an Emma Willis skincare routine obsession amongst team w&h - so it’s no surprise to see her link up with a big-name beauty brand.

More of a surprise (a pleasant one) is the news that M&S is relaunching its cult Formula skincare. Just dropped into stores and online today with Willis as its face, the scientific range has had a total overhaul, including a new peptide-powered serum. Oh, and did we mention everything is under £30?

“It's skincare you don't need a PhD for," says Willis of the 16-strong collection, "Just brilliant ingredients, proven results and products that fit into real life." After studying the collection, I reckon some of these buys will not hang around for long.

As well as these picks, the relaunched Formula collection includes many more brightening, hydrating, clarifying and nourishing products. The small-but-perfectly edited range has 16 products in total, all developed with an eye on science and industry-loved ingredients like Vitamin C, retinoids, lactic acid and NAD.

Everything is priced between £12 and £29, which is no mean feat in this market, and the main aim is to funnel advanced, technical ingredients into simple, easy-to-follow routines.

In Willis' words, "What I love about this range is that it doesn't overcomplicate skincare. We've all heard the buzzwords, but most people just want to know what something does and whether it works. Formula takes genuinely advanced science and explains it in a way that feels simple and approachable."

And it's not just the collection's (glowing and smooth) face who's involved. M&S has sensibly teamed up with an industry-renowned skin expert as its new beauty ambassador.

Dr Elizabeth Hawkes, Consultant Oculoplastic Eye Surgeon and Aesthetic Doctor, has said of her appointment, "Skin health is at the heart of everything I do and I can’t wait to share my expertise. I am passionate about the eye and skincare, and as a long-time M&S customer, it is a real privilege to be able to guide customers and arm them with the best knowledge."

M&S FORMULA is available to buy now in-store and online
