Claudia Winkleman just traded in her faithful lip colour for this cult classic lipstick on The Traitors

The presenter's iconic MAC lipstick has been banished, and another well-known buy has been recruited in its place

Many celebrities and household names have certain features that they're known for – and it's safe to say that Claudia Winkleman is one of them.

The presenter's glossy jet-black hair, eyelash-grazing fringe, or bronzed tan would all make her easily identifiable in a lineup. Aside from the previously mentioned, Winkleman is also known for her signature pale lip colour, which she herself dubbed "Tippex lips" in a 2021 interview with Get The Gloss.

So, you can imagine our surprise when we tuned into Thursday night's episode of The Traitors to see the host banishing her go-to look and recruiting a sheer pink-hued pout into her makeup routine. Not to mention, we've gone one step further and found the exact balmy, long-lasting lipstick formula behind it all...

Fortunately for us, The Traitors is the gift that keeps on giving. Even when the episodes are over, Claudia Winkleman's makeup artist, Lucy Gibson, posts a rundown of each look to her Instagram stories.

Just this morning, Gibson revealed every product she used on Claudia during the iconic roundtable during Thursday night's episode. The presenter adorned a Kiko Milano Eyeshadow Stick (in shade Dark Taupe) and Rare Beauty's Positive Light Liquid Luminizer (in shade Mesmerize), but it was her lippie of choice that caught our eye.

Winkleman traded in her iconic MAC Fleshpot lipstick for another cult classic, Clinique's Black Honey – a nourishing yet subtle tinted lip balm. Making for comfortable wear, this emollient-rich formula glides onto the pout for a hydration hit, while also imparting a sheer dark cherry hue that makes it perfect for the colder season.

In fact, this buy is a cult classic for a reason. Having originally launched as a potted gloss back in 1971, and later as the iconic Almost Lipstick tube in 1989, this formula has gone on to become a global beauty phenomenon – selling seven tubes every minute around the world.
