This new serum available in Boots will leave you with bright and glowing skin.
Whether you’re a whizz at skincare ingredients (opens in new tab) or you get brain fog just thinking about the difference between hyaluronic acid (opens in new tab) and retinol (opens in new tab) serums, chances are you still want your carefully-chosen beauty products to leave you with a healthy glow.
And Boots’ new vitamin C serum will do just that.
Spa-born brand Ole Henriksen is known for delivering effective results using a combination of powerful active ingredients, naturally-occurring botanicals and fatty acids that are essential for all skin types.
And the new Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum, part of the brand’s beloved Truth range, brings together some of the most hard-hitting skincare ingredients (opens in new tab) to transform skin and leave behind a healthy and natural glow.
What ingredients does the serum use to brighten skin?
Vitamin C
Including a hefty 15 per cent dose of Vitamin C, which is the brand’s highest concentration for a daily use product, the serum uses the antioxidant to improve skin’s elasticity and protect against environmental aggressors while reducing the appearance of pores (opens in new tab) and dark spots (opens in new tab).
PHAs (Polyhydroxy Acids)
An alternative to AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), these plumping actives help to even the skin tone by exfoliating the surface of the skin to reveal the fresher layers underneath.
Banana Powder-Inspired Pigments
A common occurrence in brightening makeup but not so much in skincare so far, these pigments are known for colour-correcting the skin while leaving an illuminated finish.
Hyaluronic Acid
The essential hydrating ingredient - this must-use acid plumps hydration into the surface of the skin while reinforcing the moisture barrier to help lock it all in.
Vitamin E
Another form of antioxidant that, not only supports the function of Vitamin C in the serum, but helps to nourish and condition the skin for a soft and healthy complexion.
