If there's one thing the Queen knows how to get right, it's giving her guests the VIP treatment.
From state banquets at Buckingham Palace to Christmas parties at Sandringham House, Her Majesty has long held a reputation for throwing extravagant gatherings at her plush royal properties.
The Queen's great-grandchildren are no exception to this rule, regularly reaping the benefits of the 95-year-old's impeccable hospitality.
In a resurfaced interview, Kate Middleton revealed how the monarch 'shows her love' for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, with this generous gesture when they come for overnight visits.
The three royal kids have enjoyed many sleepovers at their famous great-grandma's homes over the years, staying in her English residences of Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and Sandringham House on multiple occasions pre-pandemic. They're also known to spend a few days every August at Her Majesty's Scottish holiday home, Balmoral Castle, where they typically enjoy lots of outdoor activities with their cousins and elders.
The Queen always looks forward to these informal family gatherings, and she makes sure the kids know this.

Speaking on the ITV documentary, 'Our Queen at 90', the Duchess of Cambridge shared an exciting insight into the Head of State's close relationship with the most famous of her great-great children—George, Charlotte, and Louis.
"[The Queen] always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family," Kate revealed.
According to royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, these gifts are "personally chosen" by Her Majesty. It's also been reported that the Queen leaves the presents "at the foot" of the children's beds, so they have something exciting to wake up to.
Now that's what we call a slumber party.
