Sarah Ferguson reveals she's supporting NHS staff in this incredible way

Sarah Ferguson has revealed how she is doing her bit to support frontline NHS workers.

• This royal news follows Buckingham Palace confirming the Queen will address the nation on Sunday.

The duchess - who is affectionately known as Fergie - posted on Instagram yesterday to show that she has been sending fruit and vegetables to medical staff fighting coronavirus.

She shared four photos of the fresh food being handed out at Hammersmith hospital.Alongside the images, she wrote, ‘We are delighted to be sending fruit and veg boxes out to @nhsenglandldn workers on the frontline who are in great need.

‘Pictures from today’s delivery at Hammersmith hospital, supported by Prescott Thomas who are delivering all over London.’

Naturally, her Instagram followers were quick to praise her efforts in supporting medical staff.

One follower commented, ‘Wonderful work duchess!!! Bless your sweet heart and your hardworking team.’

While someone else added, ‘Very well done! Let’s hope it will encourage many others to do the same!’

Another gushed, ‘What a wonderful thing to do!’

But this isn’t the first generous gesture from the duchess, during the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier this week, Sarah delivered a huge hamper of beauty products to NHS staff in Buckinghamshire.

Sarah is believed to be self-isolating with daughter Princess Eugenie at the Royal Lodge. The pair were spotted last week receiving a large delivery of Lambertz pastries, intended for doctors and staff at London hospitals.

The news comes after Sarah revealed she is planning a thoughtful gift for her daughter Princess Beatrice. The duchess is in the process of writing her upcoming children’s book titled Trixi-Belle - the nickname she has for Beatrice.

Speaking to Royal Central, Sarah said, ’My next book is going to be called Trixi-Belle which is for Beatrice.’
