Queen set to ‘send a strong message’ on final day of Jubilee with possible second balcony appearance
The Queen could reportedly make a second appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony accompanied by three prominent royals…

The Queen is reportedly set to “send a strong message” alongside key royals on the final day of the Jubilee weekend as it’s claimed she could make another balcony appearance.
- Her Majesty will soon celebrate 70 years on the throne over the Jubilee weekend which will draw to a close on Sunday June 5th.
- Now it’s been suggested that the Queen and three other royals could appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony to show the “future of the monarchy”.
- This royal news comes as it was revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry are working on their relationship and are 'very much back on their old buddy terms'.
She might’ve officially marked the start of her 70th year on the throne in February on Accession Day, but now the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 celebrations are just days away. Marking Her Majesty’s extraordinary milestone, the four-day bank holiday weekend will see everything from a Platinum Jubilee concert to Big Jubilee Lunches take place. There will also be a traditional Trooping the Color parade with the highly-anticipated return of the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance.
Now it’s been suggested that excited fans could get to see the monarch on the balcony more than once before the Jubilee weekend is over…
According to The Mirror (opens in new tab), the Queen is set to be joined by Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George, who are the three royals highest in the royal line of succession, for a second time on the balcony. The publication has claimed that Her Majesty is planning to take to the balcony on the afternoon of Sunday, June 5th as the Jubilee weekend draws to a close.
It’s said that the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge will be with them and that it’s possible Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis could make an appearance too. The publication added that royal sources have suggested that the Queen’s supposed second balcony appearance is due to her wanting “the world to see the heartbeat of her family and the future of the monarchy”.
Whilst a royal source also expressed a belief that the monarch is eager to show the unity at the “very top” of the extended Royal Family in particular.
“Her Majesty believes it will send a strong message to the world, that despite the family’s trials and tribulations over the past few years, those at the very top are united in getting on with the job, sharing her sense of duty and dedication to serving the people of this country and the Commonwealth,” they claimed.
Recent years have proved to be emotional for the Queen, with the loss of Prince Philip in 2021 and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “stepping back” as senior royals, as well as their Oprah Winfrey interview, being especially challenging times.
Now the Sussexes are set to return to the UK with their two children Archie and Lilibet for the Jubilee celebrations. Unfortunately the Sussex family won’t be making a balcony appearance at Trooping the Color this year. Instead, it was recently announced that the Queen has decided only royals who currently undertake public duties on her behalf, like the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and the Cambridges, will be joining her.
But despite this many fans will no doubt be excitedly looking forward to seeing the Sussexes and the royals reunited once again over the Jubilee weekend.
