The Queen was seen giggling during a video call that she took part in with members of the Armed Forces.

During the video call, which was shared on the Royal Family Instagram page, the monarch spoke to Armed Forces officers who are based around the world, and she seemed quite amused by one of them in particular.

Lance Corporal Shanwayne Stephens, who is a member of the Jamaican bobsleigh team, was speaking to the Queen about his role as a pilot on the sports squad.

“Gosh. Sounds a very dangerous job,” remarked Queen Elizabeth, before asking the RAF officer how he stays fit.

The officer then revealed that as part of his exercise routine he pushes a car up and down different streets.

“Oh,” the Queen responded to the rather unorthodox exercise routine with quite a surprised look on her face.

Letting out a little laugh at the officer’s admission, the monarch added, “Well I suppose that’s one way to train”.

Lance Corporal Stephens also spoke about the comedic moment between himself and the monarch, saying that after their call the Queen “had a big smile on her face when I said about pushing the car”.

“I think she was quite impressed with that,” he added.

“We had to come up with our own creative ways to get our training done to be ready for our competitive season which starts in November,” said the officer, who joined the RAF back in 2011.

He admitted that taking part in the video call with the monarch was “a bit strange,” adding, “I’ve been in close proximity with the Queen on quite a few occasions but never actually had a face-to-face conversation with her – well screen-to-screen”.
