The one striking way Duchess Catherine mirrors her late mother-in-law Princess Diana

Duchess Catherine has been following in the footsteps of Princess Diana by wearing similar floral print dresses to the late Princess.

How does Duchess Catherine mirror Princess Diana?

The Duchess of Cambridge often chooses to emulate Prince William’s late mother’s love of floral prints.

In 1982, Princess Diana wore a pink floral dress with a matching hat at Prince William’s christening.

In 2019, Kate wore a strikingly similar dress at Prince William’s charity polo match and was pictured carrying Prince Louis.

The picture bore a shocking resemblance to the one of Diana holding baby William all those years ago.

Kate also famously mirrored Diana's outfits when she introduced Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the world.

This follows the happy news that Princess Diana's niece, Lady Amelia Spencer, got engaged last week.

Charles Spencer’s daughter met fiancé Greg Mallett at the University of Cape Town and the couple have been together for over a decade.

Lady Amelia is one of Charles Spencer’s seven children, and grew up in South Africa with twin sister Eliza, older sister Kitty and younger brother Louis.

Real estate agent Greg proposed to Lady Amelia with an incredible ring days after his 30th birthday.

The soon to be son-in-law of Earl Spencer popped the question at Clouds Wine & Guest Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Lady Amelia was in attendance at cousin Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in 2011, alongside sisters Eliza and Kitty.

Although she was absent from Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in Windsor in 2018, her sisters did attend.
