Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed a baby girl on Saturday night, confirming the exciting news to the world in a press release on Monday.
In the statement, the royal couple shared brief details of the latest addition to the Queen's great-grandchildren, before making a rare public acknowledgment of Christopher Woolf—their newborn daughter's mysterious older brother.
"Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf," the message said.
Who is Christopher Woolf "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi?
Christopher Woolf "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi is Edoardo's son from his previous relationship with American architect Dara Huang. He was born in 2016, two years before Edoardo and Dara called off their engagement. He is now co-parented by the exes, reportedly staying in London at St. James's Palace with his dad and stepmom, Princess Beatrice, when Dara is overseas for work.
While there are very few photos of him available to the public, Wolfie has been a special part of the princess's life ever since she started dating Edoardo. The five-year-old was even included in Princess Beatrice's and Edoardo's secret wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle last summer, playing the role of page boy and best man.
Dara was not present at the nuptials but appears to be fully in support of her ex-husband's second marriage. "I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families," she told the Daily Mail shortly after the royal couple's engagement was announced.
