Princess Anne ‘becoming so much like’ the Queen on overseas tour as fans dub her an ‘absolute legend’
Princess Anne’s overseas tour has seen people draw parallels between her and the Queen as they praised her ‘tireless’ work…

Princess Anne was described as “becoming so much like” the Queen during her recent overseas tour of Australia as an “absolute legend”.
- The Princess Royal has been visiting Australia as she marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
- Her dedication to her royal duties has attracted praise from fans who believe she’s emanating the qualities of her mother.
- This royal news comes as Prince Charles and Camilla revealed an exciting overseas trip as they share a controversial image of the Queen.
Just days after the extended Royal Family marked the first anniversary of Prince Philip’s death, his daughter Princess Anne has been likened to both her royal parents during an important royal tour. Setting off for Australia to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 year, the Princess Royal, who was the hardest working royal in 2021, has undertaken a variety of engagements during her time there.
This included meeting firefighters at the New South Wales Rural Fire Service HQ in Sydney where she heard more about the devastating impact of the 2019-2020 bushfires. Whilst she spent her final morning of her Australia trip with members of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RASIGS) and Royal Australian Corps of Transport (RACT).

The Princess Royal has been the Colonel-in-Chief of the RASIGS since 1977 and of the RACT since 2011. And fans were treated to an inspiring glimpse of her at work on this solo visit via the Royal Family’s official Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Sharing a selection of images on social media from her final morning, the Royal Family allowed fans to see Princess Anne’s commitment to her royal duties highlighted in this important visit.
Responding to the new pictures, many fans were quick to express admiration for the Queen’s only daughter as they remarked on how much she shares her mother’s dedication.
“The Princess Royal is fantastic and becoming so much like her mum”, one fan declared.
Another shared this sentiment, particularly when it comes to the parallel between her and her mother’s devotion as they replied, “Dedicated like both her parents 👏👏❤️”.
“Love princess Anne. She works tirelessly but never hardly gets credit in media x”, someone else agreed.
Whilst another fan said admiringly, “Princess Anne you are an absolute legend. We love you to bits and thank you so much for coming!!’ May you come again?! ♥️💕”.
The Princess Royal consistently undertakes a huge number of engagements and the secret behind Princess Anne's unfaltering energy might surprise many. Her dedication and hard work doesn't go unnoticed by fans and is definitely reminiscent of Her Majesty's own approach to her role as monarch.

Princess Anne’s overseas tour and tireless work will now continue as she has arrived in Papua New Guinea, where she was welcomed by Prime Minister James Murape. She later attended a reception in Port Moresby with business leaders and politicians.
The Princess Royal’s trip is one of several overseas trips taking place this year to mark the Jubilee, with Prince William and Kate Middleton having recently returned from their somewhat controversial Caribbean Tour. Whilst Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are set to travel to Canada in May 2022.
All of these important overseas visits come in what is an enormously significant year for the Queen as she celebrates 70 years on the throne. Throughout her reign, Her Majesty has reportedly visited Australia an astonishing sixteen times herself, though Princess Anne's overseas tour comes over a decade since her mother last set foot there.
