Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted a major change in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Instagram account.
- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have changed their Instagram handle, switching to a brand new page.
- Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that the old “@kensingtonroyal” now redirects followers to a new account.
- In other royal news, Prince William and Kate Middleton's YouTube channel has just launched with a fun statement.
It's been a big month for the Cambridge family, who recently celebrated Prince Louis’ third birthday and Princess Charlotte's sixth birthday. This news also comes the same week that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge launched their own YouTube channel—which amassed hundreds of thousands of subscribers within its first 24 hours.
Announcing the news on Twitter, the couple shared a candid clip alongside a short montage of moments from several of their official engagements over the years.

But diehard royal fans have spotted another major change in Prince William and Kate Middleton's social media accounts, namely their Instagram page.
The duke and duchess recently changed their official handle from @kensingtonroyal to @dukeandduchessofcambridge. The old Instagram username is now a private account, with a bio that reads “Visit @DukeandDuchessofCambridge for official account” directing users to their new page.
For now, their official Twitter username remains the same, @KensingtonRoyal, featuring the same nod to their official royal residence, Kensington Palace.
This raises the question, does this mean that the Cambridges are starting to move away from the Kensington branding? The evidence certainly suggests that could be the case.
We don’t know about you, but at woman&home we're very much looking forward to seeing more social media content from the Cambridge family!
