Prince Harry's Super Bowl outing with Princess Eugenie has royal fans confused
Prince Harry stepped out with Princess Eugenie in California yesterday for his first-ever Super Bowl Sunday
Prince Harry was joined by Princess Eugenie for his first-ever Superbowl Sunday yesterday, but royal fans weren't so sure who his female companion was at first.
- Prince Harry has been spotted with Princess Eugenie at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for his first-ever Super Bowl Sunday.
- The exciting Royal Family reunion also marks the first time the Duke of Sussex has hosted his cousin since moving to the US in January 2020.
- In other royal news, the Queen 'has met Lilibet' despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's concerns.
Prince Harry has finally had the quintessential American sports experience—Super Bowl Sunday.
The Duke of Sussex was photographed at the annual NFL championship game on 13 February, watching the Los Angeles Rams battle it out against the Cincinnati Bengals for that coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy. (Which football team the 37-year-old supports, however, remains a mystery!) The rare sighting comes just a few days after Prince Harry talked about HIV with rugby player Gary Johnson and promoted the importance of getting tested for the virus.
In an unexpected Royal Family reunion, the Duke was accompanied by his first cousin, Princess Eugenie, for the exciting event.
The 31-year-old, who flew in from Windsor, England to see her Sussex relatives, has been famously close with Harry since childhood. The pair was reportedly thick as thieves growing up, spending endless time together on family vacations and special occasions. Eugenie also knew Meghan Markle before she married Harry, and has remained good friends with the former Suits star to this day.

It's understood that her visit marks the first time the Sussexes have hosted one of their British relatives since their high-profile departure from the Royal Family in January 2020.
It remains unknown when Eugenie—whose father, Prince Andrew, is currently facing a sex abuse trial in the US—arrived in California or when she plans to leave. It's also unclear if her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their baby, August, traveled with her on the transatlantic trip. As for Eugenie's accommodation arrangements, it's likely she's skipped the hotel option and is staying at Harry and Meghan's £14 million Santa Barbara mansion instead.

With her blue baseball cap and black mask, the princess' identity wasn't so easy for fans to decipher. In fact, some followers initially confused the royal for Meghan Markle, who shares Eugenie's long, brunette hair and slim build.
The Duchess of Sussex was nowhere to be seen, however, leaving many folks desperate to know her whereabouts. It's possible that the busy mom—whose local team, the Los Angeles Rams, ended up winning the game—stayed at home to mind the couple's two young children, Archie and Lilibet, while Harry spent some quality time with his cousin. She could have also had work commitments related to the Sussexes' multiple businesses or philanthropic projects, which tend to take up most of their time these days.
