On Thursday, Prince Harry arrived at Buckingham Palace for the Rugby League World Cup 2021 Draw.

Prince Harry was at Buckingham Palace to announce the Rugby League World Cup Draw, but people were curious about whether or not it would be his last engagement following his announcement that he and Duchess Meghan would be stepping down as senior royals.

Their Instagram stories featured the Stone Roses song, which features the lyrics 'I’d like to leave the country for month of Sundays'.

These lyrics had people confused, with many of them taking to a recent Sussex Royal Instagram post to share their confusion. People were divided on the recent update, which they speculated was the Duke's last engagement.

One wrote, ‘A little confused - will you be giving this up now that you are leaving?’

Another added, ‘That’s pretty low to use that song as the background music.’

And a third said, ‘Good luck in your new chapter and navigating this change.’

However, Palace sources have revealed that this song choice was solely down to the event organisers, and that the royal team had no involvement in choosing it.

It’s not yet known if this will be the official theme for the 2021 event, but it was suggested by the rugby league side of the event due to it being ‘an anthem’ of the sport.

Prince Harry met with many people during the official launch of the Rugby League World Cup, including children from a local school who gave a rugby demonstration.

He also met representatives from all 21 nations taking part, before drawing the results for men’s, women’s and wheelchair games.

The official Rugby League World Cup Twitter account shared the results, which were broken down in groups.

It's unknown if this was indeed Prince Harry's last royal engagement, as Buckingham Palace is yet to release more details about the couple's future.
