Prince Charles is to make an important decision about Archie and Lilibet's titles once he becomes King.
- According to a royal author, the Prince will need to decide whether to remove any titles of Prince Harry and Meghan's children.
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed Lilibet Diana earlier this month, two years after having Archie.
- This follows royal news that Princess Diana once 'boldly' confronted Camilla.
Last week, it was reported that the Sussexes were told Archie would never become a prince by Harry's father Charles.
Charles, who is heir to the throne, is thought to prefer the idea of a slimmed-down monarchy when he takes over from the Queen.
However, a royal insider has now revealed how Charles is unlikely to make the "unpopular" decision of removing the children's titles when he becomes King.

Royal author Robert Lacey said: "I don't think he will make the unpopular and hostile move of removing the royal status of his grandchildren."
Charles is thought to have decided to honour a rule made by King George V after he issued a Letters Patent in 1917.
This read: "The grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms."
This comes after Meghan claimed in their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview that Archie was refused a royal title and therefore would no longer receive taxpayer-funded security.
However, Buckingham Palace later responded: "Recollections may vary."
