Spencer is entering its final phases of production, and fans are royally excited to learn more about the movie's lineup—especially with regards to the Prince Charles casting.
• Poldark star Jack Farthing has landed the role of Prince Charles in the forthcoming film, Entertainment Weekly announced.
• Farthing will star alongside Kristen Stewart, who is playing Princess Diana.
It looks like things are busy on the set of Spencer. The highly-anticipated biopic, which is slated for a fall 2021 release, is moving production over to the U.K. and releasing more details about the cast, much to fans' delight.
Jack Farthing will be the on-screen Prince Charles, whom Diana was married to from 1981 to 1996. The couple did separate in 1992 amid cheating allegations.
Additionally, the two supposedly went their separate ways not only because of his affiliation with the Duchess of Cornwall, but their 13-year age gap. The film will focus on the Christmas at Norfolk's Sandringham estate, where Princess Diana ultimately decided to end her marriage.
The royally obsessed are particularly engrossed in the details, as images just circulated of Kristen Stewart wearing a replica of Princess Diana's sapphire and diamond engagement ring in a movie promo. It's uncanny just how alike they look.

Kate Middleton is now in possession of the iconic piece, as Prince William used the ring to propose to her in 2010. Originally, Prince Harry was supposed to be the ring's recipient, but he ultimately decided it was best in his big brother's hands when he began his courtship with Kate.
Harry did, however, make sure to honor his mother when he proposed to Meghan Markle: two stones from the late Princess of Wales' personal collection are set on her ring.
