Mike Tindall has delighted royal fans by giving them a rare glimpse into the house he shares with Zara Phillips.

Zara Phillips' husband, Mike Tindall, gave a rare glimpse inside the home he shares with the Queen's granddaughter over the weekend.

Mike, 41, filmed a special video message from the countryside estate they share with Princess Anne.

The rugby player wished former rugby union player, George Wilson "Doddie" Weir, a happy 50th birthday and shared a link for donations to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

Royal fans were keen to get a glimpse inside his garden - which showed light stone walls, lush green foliage and a beautiful selection of flowers.

It's not often that the royals open up the doors to their homes, but we do know that Mike and Zara share the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire with Princess Royal, Princess Anne.

The 700-acre estate is nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds and is home to Princess Anne's impressive Grade II listed home and Mike and Zara's home.

Zara and Mike moved to Gatcombe just before welcoming their first child, Mia Tindall, Princess Anne’s third grandchild. It’s not clear where on the estate Zara and Mike live, with Princess Anne and her husband taking up residence in the main house.

Gatcombe is certainly a convenient place for the couple and their family to be, with equestrian Zara having many of her horses stabled on the estate. Now, the couple live there with daughter Mia their one-year-old daughter Lena, and are often pictured enjoying the grounds together as a family at the eventing trials.
