Meghan Markle is reportedly “ready to forgive” the Royal Family following the death of Prince Philip.

This comes after Meghan and Prince Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which Meghan revealed she had experienced suicidal thoughts during her time as a royal, and that a member of the family had expressed concerns about her son Archie's skin color before he was born.

The Duchess of Sussex will not attend the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral on Saturday 17th April, as she was advised against flying back to the UK so late in her pregnancy.

“Meghan said her main concern right now is supporting Harry,” a friend reportedly told the Daily Mail. “She said she left it up to him as to whether or not she would attend the funeral.

“[She] said it’s during these times when family should come together, put their differences aside and unite as one. She said this is what Prince Philip would want and that she's willing to forgive and move forward.”

The source continued, “Meghan said attending or not attending Prince Philip’s funeral isn't going to change her relationship with the Queen. She said the Queen understands her absence and would want her to stay safe and healthy for the baby.”

Our thoughts are with the entire Royal Family during this sad and difficult time.
