Today the Duchess of Cambridge is celebrating her 37th birthday, spending the day privately at home with her three young children.

Unfortunately, Prince William won't be there for most of the special day - as he's out on an official engagment with London's air ambulance.

But it's likely that Catherine will have plenty of gifts to open from her husband, kids, and her extended family, including the royals.

In fact, if the first present Catherine received from her sister-in-law Meghan is anything to go by, she'll likely be opening a very sweet gift from the Duchess of Sussex this year again too.

Back in 2017, when the two Duchesses had only recently met, it's reported that Meghan made sure to give Harry's sister-in-law a very touching gift.

On Catherine's 35th birthday, she gave her a 'dream diary' - a perfect way to see in the New Year.

The Sun reported, "Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present – a very smart leather-bound ‘dream diary’ for her thoughts and ideas, which Kate loved."

We reckon it's the perfect gift for a new family member you're just getting to know, being both thoughtful and practical.

And now it's been said that Meghan will have gotten Catherine a similarly sweet present to mark her 37th birthday, two years after the pair first met.

Of course, there have been rumours of an ongoing feud between the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge. But the pair appeared to put the speculation to rest on Christmas Day, when they were seen chatting away on their walk to a church service at Sandringham.

And it's likely the pair will have even more to bond over in the coming months, as Meghan prepares to welcome her first child with Prince Harry in the spring.

Her official due date hasn't been confirmed by Kensington Palace, but royal watchers have suggested that it could be as soon as March.
