Duchess Catherine has 'come into her own' during lockdown, according to a royal expert.

What is Duchess Catherine's new skill?

HeirPod host Omid Scobie revealed how Duchess Catherine has developed her video call skills during lockdown after initially being 'shy'.

He said, "I would say at this point, Kate has definitely become quite a pro when it comes to the Zoom calls.

"From what started out as perhaps a little bit of shyness on these calls, she's really come into her own.

"I think it always helps when she's doing an engagement with children."

The Duchess of Cambridge has earned herself the nickname 'The Children's Princess' from fans thanks to her passion for children's wellbeing.

Last week, Kate surprised a group of young tennis players by teaming up with Andy Murray for a virtual visit.

After speaking to the young tennis fans from Bond Primary School in Mitcham, South London, she said, “I’ve got a very important person here that’s going to come and join us.

“That would love to meet you guys and might be able to share some tennis tips as well with you.

“I’ll give you a few clues and see if you can guess who this special guest might be.

"So he… is a he. He plays tennis for Great Britain. He’s a two-time Olympic champion.

“He’s a former World Number One… Can you possibly guess who this might be?”

After a young pupil guessed Andy Murray correctly, the former Wimbledon champion appeared on screen to join Kate.
