The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception yesterday at Buckingham Palace alongside husband Prince William.
The Cambridges accompanied Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex as well as Princess Anne, as the family welcomed guests to the palace on behalf of the Queen.
The royals welcomed Heads of State and Government with their partners, as well as delegates, members of the UK government and UK and African business figures to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
And while everyone was dressed to impress, Duchess Catherine naturally stole the show with her consistent effortless elegance as she stunned in a beautiful red gown.

The beaded maxi gown featured intricate sequin embellishment and the tulle fabric draped down in A line shape, while the cherry red colour made the Duchess the centre of attention.
