Prince William shines a light on ‘massive fight’ between Prince George and Princess Charlotte
The Duke of Cambridge lifts the lid on life at home
The Duke of Cambridge has lifted the lid on life at home with the Cambridge family.
- Prince William revealed the kids love music and often have a “massive fight” as to what song will be played.
- The revelation comes as part of Apple’s Time To Walk podcast series, encouraging people to get active to benefit their mental health.

They may be third and fourth in the royal line of succession, but that doesn’t stop Prince George and Princess Charlotte bickering like any other siblings.
The duo are said to love their music so much that there is often a “massive fight” each morning as to who chooses which song to play.
Prince William made the sweet admission during an episode of Apple’s Time To Walk podcast, in which he meandered his way around the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and covered topics from his own childhood to his career as an air ambulance pilot.
Having admitted Tina Turner’s The Best reminds him of his own mother, The Duke of Cambridge went on to reveal his own children have inherited his love of music.
“Most mornings there's a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning,” he confessed.

In order to minimise the fall-out, Prince William is in charge of alternating between the two siblings.
And, while it’s the eldest two who like to play DJ, little Prince Louis does his best to get involved.
"One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There's a lot of hip movements going along with a lot of dressing up,” he admitted.
"Charlotte particularly is running around the kitchen, in her dresses and ballet stuff. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing."
It’s a sweet insight into life with the royals and another reminder that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are keen to raise their three children to be as normal as possible.
Prince George in particular faces a huge amount of responsibility once he enters adulthood.
As a future king himself, Prince William likely very much appreciates what it’s like to grow up knowing the significant royal role lies ahead. But the Cambridges are keen to preserve a level of normalcy for him until this day arrives.
“Kate and William want George to have a normal life”, an US Weekly source explained, expressing their belief that the couple “don’t want him to grow up too quickly”.
The insider continued, “He’s not called Prince George at school and is simply known as George, he mixes with children his own age. Kate and William don’t shower him with expensive gifts nor do they over spoil him. … George makes his bed every morning...
"All the children have impeccable manners and always say please and thank you.”
