If the sex scenes in Bridgerton have got you a little hot under the collar, then spare a thought for Regé-Jean Page family - who found out about his steamy scenes via his family Whatsapp group.
The actor who stars in Bridgerton as one of the main characters, the Duke of Hastings, revealed he told them about the explicit scenes on the messaging platform - just as they were about to watch it on Netflix.
The actor revealed the funny news while he appeared on the Tonight Show in the US. However, he also said how he failed to tell one of his family members - which resulted in a very awkward moment.
The star revealed to Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon: "We missed one of my cousins. She sent me a message that was like, 'I had to make so many tactical cups of tea during the show.' She said, 'I came back, and you were still going, so I had to go back and put the kettle back on'.
The actor went on to joke: "So my family are very stimulated and caffeinated at this point, which sounds like a deadly combination."
Regé-Jean, who has gained two million Instagram followers since the release of the Netflix show, just after Christmas, also addressed the news that he may be the next James Bond.
Earlier this week the actor became one of the bookies’ favourites to play 007, when Ladbrokes slashed his odds from 40/1 to 16/1.
Flattered about the news he told Jimmy Fallon: “I think the internet thinks a lot of things and that’s one of the more pleasant ones, so I’m pleased as far as that goes."
Based on the bestselling Bridgerton series by author Julia Quinn, the Netflix drama has had viewers hooked from the very first episode. The series has had 63 million downloads since its release and has reached the no.1 slot in 10 countries.
