Princess Beatrice and husband Edo have welcomed a baby girl as it's reported her father Prince Andrew has left Balmoral


Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have announced the birth of their baby girl, having kept the happy news secret for a few precious days.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo, or Edo as he's known to the family, are proud to announce the arrival of their precious bundle. The news comes only shortly after it was revealed that Prince Andrew may leave Balmoral hideaway to see his pregnant daughter in hospital.
The happy couple's news is sure to be a relief to many royal fans who expressed their concerns after it was reported that she had been admitted to hospital.
However, these concerns weren't needed as Buckingham Palace announced the safe arrival of the Queen's latest great-grandchild in an official statement today.
The baby was born on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 23.42 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
The Chelsea and Westminster hospital is also popular with Hollywood royalty as it's where human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, who's married to George Clooney, gave birth to their twins Ella and Alexander Clooney in 2017.

The statement continues, "The baby weighs six pounds and two ounces. The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news."
"The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf."
As the Queen's great-grandchildren grow in number, the monarch is sure to be delighted to add another to the fold.
