Madonna's nickname, M-dog, was revealed by her son David Banda during an incredibly evocative video of him twirling his younger sister around the kitchen and dancing in pure joy.

The legendary artist is usually the center of her social media platforms, as one would expect of a living icon. Unforgettable recent offerings including Madonna's shoutout to legendary artist in a sexy video and that time Madonna's new hair nearly broke the internet.

It may seem, to some, that she's the center of her own universe but as smatterings of intimate images and videos of her beloved family show so clearly - this mega star's six children are her sun, moon, and stars.

In the video, her son Michael Banda and daughter Estere are seen dancing together, in beautiful harmony, in the family's kitchen while their proud mother looks on. Fans got emotional over their incredible closeness and praised the singer's parenting. "Your children are free and fantastic, Madonna ❤️ It's the sign of a great Mom ❤️," commented an Instagram user. "A house so clearly filled with love ♥️," added another.

Madonna's nickname from David isn't the only thing that shows how beautifully free the family is and how she encourages her children to express themselves. David, her second eldest son, is wearing a dress in the video and it's not the first time he chose to sport a look that platforms sartorial equality. Madonna's son David wore a stunning dress, that was a throwback to a similar one his mum wore, in a confident rejection of gender fashion norms.

At 63 years old, Madonna's children range from the eldest, Lourdes, 25, to her 9-year-old twin daughters Estere and Stella. Though convention may lead you to believe that managing with such young children in your 60s would be hard, Madonna does it with total ease. After all, Madonna admits that she never thinks about age especially when she's on stage and, it appears, in her family life too.
