Loose Women star Linda Robson has revealed the reason why she left the ITV chat show ahead of her return.

The actress has been away from her spot on the Loose Women panel ever since January.

She has now confirmed that some tough times in her personal life were the reason for her stint away from our screens.

“I’m coming back to Loose Women. I had a little break, we had a few problems in the family, but I’m fine,” she explained to the Mirror, before confirming that a family member was also taken ill.

Upon returning to Loose Women, Linda admitted she is looking forward to “gossiping in the green room” with her co-stars, confessing, “That's my favourite part – the things you never see on air.”

Despite her telly absence, Linda has still been spending time with her fellow Loose Ladies and recently joined some members of the panel as she attended Stacey Solomon’s Primark clothing range launch.

Linda grinned as she joined Stacey, as well as Jane Moore, Kaye Adams and Brenda Edwards for a series of sweet snaps and selfies shared on her Instagram account.
