It's been a long 15 years since French & Saunders graced our television for the last time - ending an epic 18-year run of their comedy skit show.

But, for fans of Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders there is good news as the best friends have reunited for a special comedy podcast series, French & Saunders: Titting About.

Dawn, 62, shared the exciting news on Twitter as she revealed, "THIS IS LIVE NOW!!! Enjoy me n m’comedy chum yapping away pointlessly. French & Saunders: Titting About Audiobook | Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders."

Across the Audible series, Dawn and Jennifer take six big important subjects and leave no stone unturned in their "thorough quest to entertain, inform and properly tit about."

And one of the first topics the comedy-duo dissect is body image and weight, in which Dawn admits she's piled on the pounds but "doesn't give a f**k" about her changing size.

She explained, "I’ve gone back to being an entire barrel but do you know what, I’m going to be 63 this year, I don’t give a f***, I really don’t, so long as I can walk.

"I’m not going to be stingy to myself anymore. I never did dislike anything about my body, even when I was very, very fat. I refuse to be forced to dislike myself."

Having fluctuated between sizes over the years and lost a whopping seven stone in 2014, Dawn confessed she hated it when people noticed.

"I used to get really angry when I did lose weight, people going, ‘You look so well,’ as if you looked awful before - rewarding you for managing it, which is not easy, I accept that," she said.

"But I didn’t want people to give me approval. It’s so patronising."

Dawn's new project with Jennifer comes after the star moved to Cornwall to enjoy her "autumn years".

After years of gruelling TV schedules filming The Vicar of Dibley and French and Saunders, Dawn’s priorities have changed in life and the comedy actress now craves the “quiet” life.

“I am enjoying the place I’m in,” she said two years ago. “I realise I’m right there in autumn and I can’t see the point in resisting it. This is what 60 looks like.”

Looks pretty good to us, Dawn!
