American Crime Story is back for a third season, but this time the true crime anthology series will examine the controversial impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton.

American Crime Story: Impeachment will aim to provide more insight into Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton’s relationship that led to his impeachment. While this season will take us back to one of the more controversial events in American presidencies, the latest season, according to a statement by the chairman of FX Networks and FX Productions John Landgraf, “will likewise explore the overlooked dimensions of the women who found themselves caught up in the scandal and political war that cast a long shadow over the Clinton Presidency."

Monica was also involved in the making of the show, according to the series creator Ryan Murphy. Taking on the role of producer, she assisted in looking over scripts to ensure her side of the story told properly. Now with a stacked cast, the show will possibly reframe how most of us have viewed one of the most controversial political events in American history.
