It’s official: in addition to being a talented singer, performer and coach on The Voice, Gwen Stefani is a makeup pro.

While on the red carpet at the Met Gala last night, Gwen revealed that she actually did her own makeup before the big event, flawlessly replicating some of the most exciting makeup trends.

"Honestly, I had a crazy day because I was supposed to work with a new makeup artist […] and she had an emergency and she had to leave so I had to do my own makeup!" Gwen said to La La Anthony during a red carpet interview. "I had a lot of fun doing it today and it was stressful too but in a good way. I was like, 'Alright, I got this.'" She clearly knew what she was doing and looked absolutely fabulous.

A hydrating, lightweight, non-comedogenic, multi-use, skin-prepping, and priming face oil that delivers a smooth, dewy complexion.

Gwen clearly knew what she was doing—she heads her own beauty brand, GXVE, after all. According to Marie Claire, the artist first used All Time Prime Clean Hydrating Prep & Smooth Face Oil, a skin-prepping and priming face oil that guarantees a smooth and dewy complexion. Gwen then filled her own brows with the Hella On Point Ultra Fine Eyebrow Pencil (shade two) and proceeded to use GXVE's Line It Up 24-Hr Waterproof Gel Liner in Bathwater to create the standout metallic blue cat-eye that made heads turn on the red carpet.

As for her nude lip, the outlet reports that "the color in question is a mixture of two never-before-seen nude lipstick shades from her line." Word on the street is that the product will drop on Sephora.com on June 7.

The 52-year-old singer-songwriter complemented her natural makeup look with a stunning outfit choice that resonated with her fans. The star wore a chartreuse-colored two-piece mikado ball gown with a bandeau top, long matching gloves, and a skirt featuring hand-cut silk blossoms. Clearly reminiscent of the wedding gown that she wore when marrying Blake Shelton last July, both outfits are by the one and only Vera Wang. Fun fact: Gwen Stafani's wedding dress designer Vera Wang actually asked her to be her date at the Met Gala!

"Vera called me to see if I wanted to come and be her date and of course, I wanted to," Gwen explained on the red carpet. "The thing is she did my wedding dress, I got married this year so I just felt like it was appropriate that I come to the ball and celebrate that. [...] All of a sudden, we're in neon! It feels happy and I think everybody wants to feel a little bit happy."

We couldn’t agree with your more, Gwen!
