Kelly Clarkson is embracing her natural beauty—wrinkles and all. In a podcast appearance, she got candid about getting older and why Botox scares her.
The singer has always made a point of trying to "keep it real". From telling personal stories live television to reflecting on the importance of "me time" in the aftermath of her divorce, Kelly has always been honest and relatable.

During an appearance on the podcast Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, The Voice judge got personal about her appearance, saying she is going to have "every wrinkle in the world."
So, Kelly won't be getting plastic surgery or injectables anytime soon, but don't think she looks down on those who do. Her reasoning is simple: she's scared of it.
"I'm gonna look like a total Shar-Pei, like a dog. I'm gonna have every wrinkle in the world on my face," she told Big Bang actress Mayim. "It has nothing to do with me being better than somebody that gets (work done on) their face. I'm afraid of stuff called botulinum toxin."
Kelly also wants to challenge society's beauty standards. She welcomes her wrinkles and hopes that by embracing her natural look as she ages, others will feel comfortable to follow suit and learn to accept and appreciate their wrinkles.
"I hope I'm still having my talk show and I hope people see this is what it looks like, this is how you look when you get older; it's fine," she said.
She underscored her point by keeping her appearance casual for the show. She wore no makeup and sported two braids under a baseball cap, saying that this type of look would not be accepted by most managers who would expect a "glam" look.
"No manager would ever want me to do this. I have no makeup on and my hair in [braids]. I'm comfortable and I was potting plants and doing gardening stuff and I had the morning off so I didn't want to have to get [all glammed up]," she explained.
Let's take a note from Kelly and try embracing our skin in all its natural beauty.
