Riviera Travel has announced the launch of their 2022 cruise set to sail across the south of France - and it’s got us all ready for vacation again.
We’ve all been counting down the days until we can pack our bags and jet off to distant shores again - but now Riviera Travel is giving us all the chance to sail off instead.
The travel company has revealed that their MS Lord Byron is scheduled to get back on the water again for a luxury cruise along non-other than the shores of southern France.
The 140-guest cruise ship was originally scheduled to set sail this year, however, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it was unable to. So the company is bringing it back with a bang for voyages next year with 15 cruises planned between April and October 2022.

“We’re delighted to once again offer guests the opportunity to set sail on the stunning Lord Byron,” said Katja Hildebrandt from Riviera Travel. “It’s a five-star ship that will visit five-star destinations across the south of France.
“From the lush slopes of France’s Winelands to the sun-baked hills of Provence, to the medieval splendor of Avignon, this promises to be a fascinating river cruise to one of the most picturesque corners of the world.”
Whilst on board the ship, you can enjoy the Lord Byron’s 74 staterooms (which include a wide range of suites and luxury cabins), the sun deck, 24-hour self-service station for tea and coffee, a splash pool, and a putting green. There is also even a wellness area with a sauna, steam room, and hairdressing salon so that you can book in some relaxing time out.
With prices starting from $2171pp (approx)/£1,569pp, which includes return flights and transfers and even the option for a low $345pp (approx)/£250pp deposit, this is one trip we could definitely be tempted by.
