Royal fans are loving Princess Eugenie's latest Instagram postwith one picture showing a cute, never-before-seen picture of Baby August.

The New Year Instagram post, which the princess shared on 1 January, consisted of 10 pictures from 2021— including snaps of husband Jack Brooksbank and her grandfather Prince Philip.

The post, which has had more than 200,000 likes, also had some sweet messages from fans—who loved the new picture of baby August.

The pictures and message seemed to reflect the past year, as she added the caption, "Happy New Year to all.. Goodbye 2021. A year that blessed us with our boy and saw our family grow with new additions but also a year that took some of our biggest and brightest lights. Forever in our hearts."

Eugenie, who gave birth to baby August in February last year, has spent 2021 getting to grips with motherhood, while also grieving for her grandfather, Prince Philip, who passed away aged 99, last April.

Her New Year post paid tribute to Prince Philip, with an old snap of Philip and the Queen. While it was another picture, of baby August, that got fans excited.

The picture, which Princess Eugenie hasn't shared before, shows baby August on her lap, at what is thought to be his christening this year.

Fans loved the photos, with one saying, "Nice to see these photographs!" While another highlighted the rare photo of August and said, "That is such a fantastic shot of Mama and son, and I love the red hair, like all three girls."

Another fan simply said about the photos, "Happy New Year Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brooksbank." The royal hasn't shared too many pictures of her son since he was born last year, but we're hoping for an official photo on his first birthday in February.

Eugenie has no doubt had a quiet Christmas, like the rest of the royal family. She was due to spend Christmas at Sandringham House, with the Queen, but a big festive celebration was canceled due to the new variant of Covid.
