Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter Flora announces her engagement to Timothy Vesterberg

Flora Alexandra Ogilvy, who is a distant cousin of Princes William and Harry, announced her engagement in a lovely Instagram post last week.

Congratulations are in order for Princess Alexandra of Kent’s granddaughter Flora, who is set to marry Timothy Vesterberg. The couple went public with their engagement, sharing matching Instagram photos on their profiles.

In Flora’s caption, she wrote, ‘We’re engaged! My beloved Timothy asked me to marry him and we’re blissfully happy. Photograph by my father.’

She also hashtagged the Swedish phrase ‘Min älskling’ which translates as ‘my love’ or ‘my darling’. How lovely!

Her Instagram post was flooded with congratulatory messages from followers. One read, ‘Wow what fantastic news ✨ huge congratulations @florarteviste 😘’

Another said, ‘Congratulations! You two are beautiful together! So happy for you and your families. 😍’

A third wrote, ‘Congratulations! You are such a beautiful couple. Your dad did a beautiful job on your pictures! 💖💖’

Flora and Timothy have not yet confirmed a date for their wedding, but we’ll definitely be seeing at least one royal wedding next year.

Princess Beatrice announced her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi earlier this year, and shared a lovely series of photos taken by sister Princess Eugenie. The couple confirmed they’d marry in 2020, and we’re so excited!

We can’t wait to learn more about Flora and Timothy’s wedding, as we’re sure it’ll be beautiful. Last year, Flora attended the wedding of Lady Gabriela Windsor and Thomas Kingston, which has definitely gone down as one of the most memorable weddings.
