The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release gorgeous new family photo

The Cambridges have published a new photograph of the children on their Kensington Royal Instagram account to mark the Duke's birthday.
- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are "pleased" to share a new photograph of Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis
- The family portrait is to celebrate Prince William's birthday and Father's Day
- It follows royal news that The Duchess of Sussex's friendship with Jessica Mulroney could be on the rocks
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a new family photograph to mark Prince William's birthday, which happens to fall on Father's Day this year.
The adorable snap features William - who turns 38 today - sat on a swing with two-year-old Louis on his lap. Charlotte, five, is by his side and George, six, is behind him.
As per tradition, the picture-perfect family shot was captured by Duchess Catherine.

The snap was shared on the couple's Kensington Royal Instagram account and captioned, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow.
|"The picture was taken earlier this month by The Duchess."
Catherine, 38, has made no secret of her love of photography and turned her passion into a project at the start of lockdown when she launched the "Hold Still" project in collaboration with her patronage, the National Portrait Gallery.
Speaking about sharing her passion for photography to This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, Catherine said "photographs have got an amazing ability to tell a story."
The adorable family snap comes just days after William confessed he's concerned about his "waistline" after developing an unhealthy obsession with baking during lockdown.

The father-of-three made the admission during his first in-person royal engagement in three months when he visited the King’s Lynn Ambulance Station at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a socially distanced catch-up.
The future King said, “I’m worried about the waistline of the nation as well with all the chocolate and cakes. I’ve done a lot of baking at home. Chocolate goes down very well."
