Princes William and Harry are said to be working on repairing their relationship after the once-close brothers have had a complicated dynamic over the last few years. A source close to the royals has revealed FaceTime video calls with their children have helped get their relationship back on track.

Ever since Harry married Meghan Markle back in 2018, Harry and his brother, Prince William, have faced persistent rumors about a feud.

The pair were said to have Prince William and Prince Harry avoided each other the last time Harry returned to the UK and Prince Harry snubbed the Queen when he didn’t return to the UK for their grandfather, Prince Philip’s, memorial.

While both brothers have kept quiet on the rumors, the pair and their wives – Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle – have seldom been seen together in public or interacted. The tensions could have worsened after Harry and Meghan exited life as working royals, moving to California and speaking to Oprah about clashes between Meghan and Kate.

However, a source close to the royals recently told UK newspaper The Mirror, “The brothers needed time for everything to settle down. The family, including William, had been disappointed in the way Harry and Meghan chose to leave the Royal Family.”

“But now there is a strong feeling that what happened is in the past and that they have moved on.”

The source added that “it seems that the two of them have healed the rift and are very much back on their old buddy terms.”

This is wonderful news for the royal family, and especially Her Majesty the Queen who will be looking forward to having her grandsons reunited for her Platinum Jubilee celebrations next weekend.

Harry and Meghan will return to the UK for the celebrations after secretly visiting Her Majesty in April.

The couple will be joined by their two children, Archie Harrison, who last saw the Queen in late 2019, and Lilibet Diana, who has yet to meet her great-grandmother (or her grandfather, Prince Charles) in person.

A spokeswoman for the couple confirmed the Sussexes would return to the UK for the special celebrations, saying, “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honored to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children.”
