From their statement about Afghanistan’s humanitarian crisis to their open letter to G20 leaders about vaccine equality, Prince Harry and Meghan regularly release powerful messages urging people to respect, support and do all they can to help fellow humans. Now the Queen’s grandchild and the Duchess have spoken out as the crisis in Ukraine reached terrifying levels amid the Russian invasion.
Taking to their Archewell website, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared a powerful message. In it, the royal couple showed their support for the people of Ukraine during this terrifying time and urged the “global community” to follow this example.

Russian military units have now crossed into Ukraine and Ukrainian officials have announced that the units have seized control of the Chernobyl nuclear plant. As reported by the BBC, the Russian forces bombed military targets near big cities after crossing the border and there are now mounting fears about the violence escalating into a full-scale war.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Prince William had a secret MI6 visit on the “dark day” Russia invaded Ukraine.
