Prince Charles made a young man cry in an emotionally charged video, which was filmed in honour of an incredibly important award. His overwhelmed, emotional reaction is the most adorable thing you'll see all week.
- Prince Charles met with Hassan to tell him of an important award he had won.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Prince Charles met with this year's winner of the Prince's Trust Young Achiever award at his royal residence Clarence House. The adorable moment, which was televised on the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards, captured how much the gong meant to its winner—Hassan.
The young man began crying as he saw the Prince, asking, "Am I the winner?" through his tears.
"Yes!" Charles answered enthusiastically, as he offered Hassan a seat in the Morning Room at Clarence House.
Hassan, aged 24, and his family fled their home in Syria due to the war, and began a new life in Northern Ireland. Since arriving in Northern Ireland, the hard-working young man has transformed his life with support from Prince Charles charity, The Prince’s Trust.

His story is an inspiration as, despite all of the challenges he's faced, he's now studying Software Engineering at university and working in a supermarket during the pandemic.
Alongside his studies and his job, Hassan also volunteers with vulnerable members of his community—which he says was inspired by the support he received from The Prince’s Trust.
"I can't even stand up," Hassan said, as Charles spoke of the immense pride he has in him.

Charles said, "I can't tell you how proud it makes me of the kind of achievements, against all the odds, all the challenges you've had to face."
The Prince's Trust Young Achiever winner, clearly still overwhelmed added, "There's been some crazy moments, I don't know how to describe it, but thank you very much."
The awards offer a chance for the real heroes of the UK to be celebrated and if fans' reactions to this video are anything to go by, Hassan deserves every bit of celebration he receives.
"Inspiring!! Well done and a huge congratulations!!!," said one Instagram user. Another added, "A lovely young man and what a wonderful thing for HRH The Prince of Wales to do by presenting Hassan his invitation and sitting talking to him. Hassan deserved this award."
