Today is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie’s first birthday.

This day marks one year since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed Archie Harrison Mount-Batten Windsor into the world, making them parents for the first time.

Making sure to send his love to his youngest grandson, Prince Charles took to social media, along with his wife Duchess Camilla, to share a lovely tribute to Archie.

A photograph of Prince Charles, his second son Prince Harry and baby Archie aged three months was posted on the Clarence House Instagram account.

‘A very Happy Birthday to Archie, who turns one today.

‘This photo of Archie and his grandfather was taken following his christening in July 2019,’ a caption beside the image says.

Meanwhile, a snapshot of Her Majesty the Queen peering over at Archie with a huge grin on her face was posted on the Royal Family account.

Also in the photo is Prince Philip, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Archie’s grandmother, Doria Ragland.

Doting parents Harry and Meghan released a brand new video of their son today, in honour of his birthday.

In the footage, former actress Meghan can be seen reading a storybook to her baby boy in the Sussex’s new LA home.

Proud father Harry can be heard cooing from behind the camera, cheering his family on.

The footage, shared on Save The Children UK’s Instagram page, was posted as part of the charity’s Save With Stories campaign, which is helping to raise money for families who are struggling financially because of the coronavirus pandemic.
