Mike Tindall says the secret royal lunch was the highlight of his weekend and considering the exclusive guest list, who can blame him.
- Mike Tindall made the revelation on The Good, The Bad and the Rugby podcast.
- The secret lunch in question was a viewing of the Trooping of the Colour, attended by non working royals.

Fans called for him to become the 'official commenator' of the Platinum Jubilee after Mike Tindall teased Zara and Princess Eugenie in a hilarious Instagram post. The popular member of the Royal Family shared his highlights throughout, but during his podcast he discussed his absolute favorite event - an extra special lunch!
Although the best moments of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee may be up for debate among members of The Firm, and the general public, for Mike it was the 'cousins lunch,' organised after they watched the Trooping of the Colour.
“We had a good cousins’ lunch on the Thursday," he said. "That was a highlight.”

It's unknown where the lunch was had, but they watched the day's events from the Major General’s Office, which overlooks the Horse Guards Parade. Although we don't know which 'cousins' attended the lunch, a video shared on Princess Eugenie's Instagram account showed that she attended the viewing alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank, son August, and sister Princess Beatrice too.
According to reports from Metro, Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was there, as was the Duke of Kent, and the Sussexes.
In fact, Meghan Markle showed off her 'fun parenting' skills when she joked with royal kids. The kids in Question were some of the Queen's great-grandchildren and included Peter Phillips' daughters Savannah, 11, and Isla, 10, and Mike and Zara Tindall's daughters Mia, eight, and Lena, three.
