Mike and Zara Tindall are expected to travel to Australia in the New Year, just a few months after the ex-British rugby star's I'm A Celebrity 2022 stint.
- Mike Tindall is expected to travel to Australia in the New Year to attend a racing event with Zara Tindall.
- The former English rugby star has only recently returned from Queensland, after flying Down Under to appear on I'm A Celebrity 2022.
- In other royal news, the happy Christmas news King Charles received at Sandringham on Boxing Day revealed.
Mike and Zara Tindall are expected to jet off to Australia in the New Year, marking their second trip to the sun-soaked country in less than a year. The exciting news comes shortly after the couple joined King Charles III at Sandringham Estate for the Royal Family's first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth.
Mike headed to Queensland, Australia to star in I'm A Celebrity 2022...Get Me Out of Here in November, joining the likes of Matt Hancock and Charlene White for the 20th season of the ITV reality series. The 44-year-old placed eighth in the competition, missing out on the winning title to English football player, Jill Scott.
It's now understood that Mike, who is married to Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter Zara, will be returning to Australia in the New Year. The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby podcast host will reportedly attend Magic Millions, a popular race day on the Gold Coast, on January 9. Zara, who is a renowned Olympian equestrian, is also set to join the carnival.
The royal couple lives at Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire with their three children, Mia, Lena, and Louis. Last January, Mike and Zara made a virtual appearance in support of Magic Millions after being unable to fly to Australia due to COVID-19 restrictions. The pair joked and laughed about Britain's cold winter conditions during the clip, which was humorously shot against a tropical background.
"We're trying to feel like we're on the Gold Coast. It's about minus one outside and miserable and pitch black," Mike said.
His sentiments were echoed by Zara, who added, "We are so missing the warmth."
The couple was also admittedly disappointed to have missed the Magic Millions.
"Last year was definitely a no-no not coming down and this year was kind of almost there and really itching to get out there," Zara revealed.
