Meghan Markle wore Princess Diana's Cartier watch worth £17,800 as she arrived in Dusseldorf with Prince Harry.

Arriving in Germany, Meghan seemingly took inspiration from her and Prince Harry's wedding day when it came to her outfit, sporting an elegant low bun and cream halter neck

Meghan also carried a piece of the late Princess Diana with her and Harry on the trip, opting to wear her gold Cartier Tank watch worth £17,800 ($20,400).

The beautiful timepiece belonged to Diana before she died 25 years ago in a Paris car crash that left Prince Harry and Prince William without a mother. It's thought that the watch was given to Meghan as a gift after it was passed down to him.

The Duchess of Sussex also chose her Cartier Love bracelet, a gold Jennifer Meyer tennis bracelet, and of course, her £270k engagement ring.

Meghan is known to be a fan of the Cartier Tank and opened up about treating herself to one to mark a huge career milestone before she married Prince Harry.

"I have always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch. When I found out that Suits had been picked up for our third season, which, at the time, felt like a huge milestone, I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version," she told Hello! back in 2015.

Meghan shared that she has plans to give the two-tone Cartier watch to her daughter some day, making the comments years before her and Harry's little Lilibet was born.

"That’s what makes the pieces special, the connection you have with them," she said of the watch, which she had engraved with "To MM From MM".
