Kate Middleton seemingly took hair inspiration from her mini-me, Princess Charlotte, when she stepped out for the Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey.

Princess Charlotte made an official royal appearance when she and Prince George attended Prince Philip's memorial service this month, alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton.

While Charlotte's presence at the moving ceremony had royal fans in awe of her maturity and confidence, it was her adorable hair style that caught people's eyes too.

Princess Charlotte, who lives between Kensington Palace in London and Amner Hall in Norfolk with the Cambridge family, wore her long brunette locks in two sweet braids pulled back and tied together with a royal blue ribbon in a bow, a style the royal tot is often seen with.

It's clear to see that Princess Charlotte got her beautiful hair gene from her mom, with Kate's hair over the years having never looked short of stunning.

And when she arrived at the Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey, wearing the same gorgeous white outfit she wore to Princess Charlotte's christening in 2015, it looked as though the future Queen Consort had opted for a grown-up version of her daughter's favorite tied-with-a-bow hairstyle.

Catherine's hair was styled in perfect bouncy curls, with a giant white headband adorning the top of her head and a big satin bow at the back.

Kate's recycled christening coat dress was an Alexander McQueen number, which she teamed with a pair of simple black court heels for Monday's service.

With Princess Charlotte set to celebrate her seventh birthday in May, the young royal is seemingly growing into her role in The Firm splendidly, with royal fans praising her for her impeccable royal manner when she shook hands with a lineup of Clergymen when she arrived at Philip's memorial.

Little Charlotte, who is said to be known at school and among her family for her fiery personality and cheeky confidence, took to the royal duties seamlessly, with Kate giving her some sweet advice.

Lip reader, Jacqui Press, has revealed the special moment Duchess Catherine whispered some supportive words to her daughter at the ceremony, helping her along the way.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Jacqui shared that while they were walking hand in hand, Kate told Charlotte, "You can smile!"
