Along with the insightful images, Kate penned a message praising the selflessness of those who serve.

“Thank you for all you and your families sacrifice to keep us safe.”
“Last year, I was honoured to spend time with the @BritishArmy to see how they train serving personnel and new recruits. It was wonderful to see first-hand the many important and varied roles the military play day in, day out to protect us all…”
Committing herself to future hands-on involvement, she ended her message by promising to discover “more about the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force in due course.”
Fans flocked to the comments to praise Catherine’s readiness to get stuck in.
One wrote, “What a wonderful message from our amazing #duchessofcambridge. And a lovely surprise with that! There's nothing she can't do!”
Another added, “Great work from our future Queen.”
Kate honoring the armed forces is a touching sign that the future heirs will follow in the footsteps of Her Majesty the Queen who makes it a priority to honor the sacrifices of those who’ve served.
During the coronavirus lockdown, Her Majesty made online video calls with members of the armed forces and she herself was the first female member of the Royal family to be an active duty member of the British Armed Forces during the Second World War.
