Unearthed footage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles with Prince William and Prince Harry as little boys has been shared online.

The touching clip, posted on TikTok account Royal Family Supporters, shows a rather relatable family moment being had between the late Princess Diana, Prince Charles and their young sons.

The nostalgic video, shot at Prince Charles’ Gloucestershire home, Highgrove House in 1986, shows the family sitting on a flight of garden steps, with the young princes dressed in adorable matching blue and white shorts and polo shirts.

Prince Harry, who is just a toddler in the retro recording, can be seen in his father’s arms, while little Prince William is sat further down with Princess Diana, playing with a black and white bunny rabbit.

The upload also shows the chuckle-worthy moment that William, who is now the Duke of Cambridge with three children of his own, has a pang of sibling jealousy when his little brother Harry is allowed to hold the rabbit.

After William rejects his chance to pet the tiny creature, patient mum Diana offers a chance to red-haired toddler Harry, who now shares three-year-old Archie and three-month-old Lilibet Diana with Meghan Markle.

As Harry begins stroking the rabbit, William pipes up and begins yelling, “Can I hold him? Can I hold him? Can I hold him? Can I?”

Meanwhile, Harry begins haphazardly petting the bunny, while an exasperated Prince Charles instructs his son to stroke the rabbit’s ears “the other way”, before turning away with a laugh.

The viral slice of footage has racked up over 38,000 views so far, with royal fans finding it super sweet.

“Anyone with two kids can relate to this,” one amused commenter wrote.

“Dude, you’re gonna be King, chill,” joked another, while a third simply wrote, “Wow.”
