Princess Anne has been praised for her “no fuss no bother” approach as she focused on her royal duties during a whirlwind visit to Northern Ireland.
- The Princess Royal has undertaken a packed day of engagements in Northern Ireland and she’s attracted the admiration of fans.
- Many were delighted to see her out and about as they remarked on her “hard working” nature.
- This royal news comes as the Queen cut her Sandringham stay short for crisis talks with Boris Johnson at Windsor.
Often considered to be amongst the most down-to-earth members of the extended Royal Family despite being one of the Queen’s children, Princess Anne has consistently earned praise over the years for her devotion to her duties. The Princess Royal was found to be the hardest-working royal of 2021 and the royal who worked the hardest in 2020, according to studies.
Now as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year continues it seems her only daughter isn’t lessening her royal schedule. Having traveled to everywhere from Australia and France to Scotland already in 2022, Princess Anne has now enjoyed a busy day of engagements in Northern Ireland.
And fans were quick to express their admiration for the Princess Royal’s hardworking nature and “no fuss” approach...

Taking to social media, the Royal Family shared a series of wonderful highlights of Princess Anne during her time in Northern Ireland. This included her celebrating the St John’s Ambulance Cadet’s 100th anniversary in Ballymena.
This was likely especially significant for Princess Anne as Commandant-in-Chief of St John Ambulance Cadets as she also met those completing the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. The prestigious award was launched in 1956 by her late father Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Following this special visit, the senior royal received a tour of the remarkable facilities at the Irish Equine Rehabilitation and Fitness Center. Given Princess Anne’s Olympic career and love of horses, it’s not difficult to see why this would also be a major highlight of her time in Northern Ireland.

And another came as Princess Anne stunned in a bold yellow and blue outfit for an appearance at the first Garden Party to be held at Hillsborough Castle since before the pandemic. Here she got the opportunity to meet people from all across Northern Ireland and received a Platinum Jubilee hamper before planting an oak tree in the walled garden.
With so many important engagements undertaken in a single day, it’s perhaps no surprise that fans were left in awe of Princess Anne’s approach to her royal duties.
“Bravo HRH, she is hardest working of all the Royals. Also is not high maintenance, no fuss no bother. And i admire the manner in which she supports the Military. "👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏”, one fan commented, reflecting on how the Princess Royal remains utterly focused on her engagements.
Another expressed similar admiration, writing, “A very hard working royal 👸 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌😍😍”
“She definitely takes after her mother the Queen. ❤️”, commented a third, and while the two royals do look alike, Princess Anne also showcases a devotion to duties that mirrors that of Her Majesty.
Her latest day of engagements comes just a week after Holyrood Week 2022 drew to a close. This annual week celebrates the culture, community and achievements of Scotland and saw Princess Anne join Prince Charles, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex in supporting the Queen and attending multiple brilliant events and engagements, including the Palace of Holyroodhouse garden party.
